Mexico to US Shoe Size Converter

Mexican shoe sizes run about half a size below UK labels (and 1.5 below US). Enter a Mexican size to see its US equivalent, or convert the other way.

Tip: measuring your foot in cm or inches is the most accurate starting point — see how to measure. Conversions between named size systems are approximate by nature.

How this conversion works

Mexico uses two markings: a traditional size number on a barleycorn scale that sits roughly half a size below UK (and therefore 1.5 below US men's), and a straightforward centimetre marking used by many local brands.

If your shoe's tag shows a round number close to your foot length in centimetres (24, 25, 26…), it is the cm marking — use the centimetre input for the most accurate conversion.

Common questions

What is a Mexican size 25 in US?

If the 25 is a centimetre marking, that is a US men's ~8 / EU ~41. If it is on the traditional Mexican numeric scale, use the converter — the two markings are not interchangeable.

Is Mexican sizing the same as UK sizing?

Close but not identical: the traditional Mexican scale grades about half a size below UK. It is far enough that we convert through foot length rather than applying a flat offset.

Do Mexican kids sizes convert the same way?

Children's sizing in Mexico mixes US-style and cm markings by brand; treat every kids conversion as approximate and prefer a measured foot length.
