CM to Shoe Size Converter

The most accurate conversion there is: measure your foot in centimetres and get your size in every system — no size-label ambiguity.

Tip: measuring your foot in cm or inches is the most accurate starting point — see how to measure. Conversions between named size systems are approximate by nature.

How this conversion works

Every named size system is ultimately a grid laid over foot length. Start from the measurement itself and the ambiguity disappears — you are reading the grid directly instead of hopping between two rounded labels.

To measure: stand on a sheet of paper in the evening, full weight, trace both feet, and measure from the heel to the longest toe of each foot. Use the larger measurement. That number in centimetres is what this converter wants.

Common questions

Is 26 cm a size 9?

26 cm is about a US men's 9 / UK 8 / EU 42.5 — but measure rather than assume: charts disagree by up to half a size at the boundaries.

Should I measure both feet?

Yes — most people have one longer foot, and you should buy for the larger one.

Is foot length the same as insole length?

No. Shoe insoles are longer than the foot they fit (functional allowance). Never match your foot measurement to an insole measurement — convert your foot length instead.
