Shoe Size Converter
Convert between US, UK, EU, Mondopoint and foot measurements for men, women and kids — or measure your foot in cm or inches for the most accurate result. Every conversion is computed from documented sizing scales and cross-checked against retailer charts.
Tip: measuring your foot in cm or inches is the most accurate starting point — see how to measure. Conversions between named size systems are approximate by nature.

Why sizes differ between countries
Named size systems are grids laid over the same physical reality — your foot length. US and UK sizes grade in barleycorns (one third of an inch), with US labels running one size above UK for men's shoes. EU sizes step in Paris points (two thirds of a centimetre) and include an allowance for the shoe's last, which is why EU conversions wobble by half a size. Mondopoint simply states the foot length in millimetres.
Because the grids slice foot length differently, no cross-system table is perfectly clean — and anyone promising exact equivalence is rounding in secret. Our approach: convert through foot length, show both candidates on boundary sizes, and mark every cross-system result as what it is — a very good approximation. Read the full methodology.
Start with a measurement when you can
A size label you already own is a rounded summary of a rounded process. A foot measurement is the raw fact every system encodes. Trace your foot in the evening (feet swell slightly), measure both, use the larger — then use the cm converter or the inches converter.
